American Psychological Association Practice Organization's
PracticeUpdate Email Newsletter Wins LISTSERV® Newsletter Award

L-Soft's Award Program -- the Only Global Recognition for Email List
Excellence -- Honors Newsletter for Practicing Psychologists

Stockholm, (November 21, 2005) -- The PracticeUpdate email newsletter --
designed to provide information and tools to help psychologists grow
their practice, acquire new knowledge, reach out to their community,
connect with colleagues and participate in meaningful advocacy activities
on behalf of psychology -- has won the LISTSERV Newsletter Award in this
year's LISTSERV Choice Awards program.

The newsletter began in January 2004 and is emailed every three weeks
by the American Psychological Association Practice Organization (APAPO)
to 60,000 licensed psychologists and psychology graduate students who
are preparing for practice. PracticeUpdate offers resources and tools
tailored specifically to help members of the professional psychology
practice community to manage, build, market and diversify their
practices, understand the effect of laws and regulations on psychology
practice and keep current on important legislative developments and
other relevant news.

"We are pleased that L-Soft has chosen to honor the PracticeUpdate
electronic newsletter with this award," said APA Executive Director for
Professional Practice Russ Newman, PhD, JD. "It is valuable to have an
electronic mechanism for providing timely information to our
members."

The newsletter generally includes an average of five original articles
and is laid out in HTML format, with photos, links and article
summaries designed to attract readers' attention and facilitate
skimming to allow busy psychologists to easily and quickly access the
content that most meets their needs.

"The PracticeUpdate newsletter features high-quality, recipient-focused
content packaged in a well-designed and easy-to-use format, resulting
in a targeted and highly effective email newsletter. PracticeUpdate is
an excellent example of the ways email newsletters can help large
associations provide important and current information to their
constituencies and strengthen connections between associations and
their members in the process," said Eric Thomas, L-Soft founder and
CEO and inventor of LISTSERV, the product that launched the email list
management industry in 1986.

The LISTSERV Newsletter Award is the second to be announced in this
year's LISTSERV Choice Awards competition, the only worldwide
recognition program for outstanding email list communication.
Originally launched in 2004 to celebrate L-Soft's 10th anniversary, the
LISTSERV Choice Awards program for 2005-2006 features four nomination
categories: Discussion, Newsletter, Announcement and Innovation.
